How to solve word problems

To solve math problems, reading is very important.
Step 1 - Read the WHOLE problem!
Step 2 - Write down your numbers, and define each one of them to make your head much less crowded with the problem.
Step 3 - Get a formula for the problem, either from your notes if you did a similar problem before or from your knowledge.
Step 4 - Do the work, and write all of it down. Try to skip as much less steps in your head as possible when you are struggling with the problem.
Step 5 - Write neatly, again, to make your head less crowded by not having to think about what you could of wrote there for 5 minutes.
