Mental Math - Subtracting

Subtracting is useful when you are shopping, or when you just have to do mental math.
Solving it in your head is faster than using a calculator.
The best and fastest way to solve a subtracting question is this:
If you would like to buy a toy car for $27, and have 41, to find the change:
41-27 =
Take 27 from 40, which gives you 13, and then add one.
You are round down or up to make it easier to do.
40-27 = 13+1 = 14
To check,
14+27 = 41
